No doubts, we all have days and more specific a day we cannot forget in our lives. A day we smile, laugh, cry and shed tears of joy when we remember.
If you ask some people
what day they cannot forget? Some will go back to their pasts and tell you it
was the day their now husband proposed to them. Some, the day they got wedded.
Some will tell you it
was the day they attended a particular great event, some, a day they got
admission and a day they graduated from school. Some sets of people may even
tell you it was they lost their mother, father, sibling or friend and some will
tell you it was the day they received an award in school or the day they won a
great global competition. In short, no man on earth will not have a particular
day among others that he or she will forever keep dear to his or her as long as
he or she lives.
Every occurrences and
experiences in life makes memory of a particular day permanent in our lives
that we dare not forget. But as important some
of this day may appear to us, there is a day we must all keep dearer to our
heart. A day that must be beating hard in our heart. A day that must shape the
way we live our lives every day
A day we must not let
go off our heart in every step we may take. But unfortunately, millions of
young people have forgotten this day; millions of aged man and woman never for
ones remember or remind themselves of this day. The pleasures and the
continuing increase of ungodliness have made it very difficult for many
teenagers to even think of it for seconds.
In fact, one circular
artists once sang it that this day can never come to reality that they should
keep enjoying life to the fullest and perhaps as you are reading this, you
don’t even sense the day I am talking about or it was never crossed your mind.
The gospel truth is
that this day will surely come. What is this day we MUST all remember?
1 Thessalonica 5: 1-2 has this to say;
But of the times and the seasons,
brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly
that THE DAY OF THE LORD so cometh as a thief in the night.
Yes! It is the day of
the Lord. It is a day many will shout “Ah” in great regret and many will shout “Yes”
in great rejoicing and jubilation. Remember this day! It is a day nothing will
no longer matter but a life well spent for the service of the master in
holiness, faithfulness, love and righteousness.
REMEMBER THIS DAY!! THE
BIBLE CALLS IT THE DAY OF THE LORD, COMING QUICKLY!!
Amend your ways, may
you not the caught unaware, amen.
